Where Are Our Graduates? Estefanía Godoy – Elevar Cohort One

At Elevar, we often say that graduation is not the end — it is the launch.

For Estefanía Godoy, a graduate from Elevar’s first cohort, that launch has continued to ripple across Eagle County in meaningful ways.

Growing Leadership in the Nonprofit Sector

In July 2024, Estefanía joined Energy Smart Colorado as the Regional Engagement and Outreach Manager, where she leads community-facing strategy and builds partnerships that expand access to energy efficiency resources.

Originally from Jalisco, Mexico, Estefanía embraced her roots in a beautiful mountain community that she now proudly serves. She earned her Associate of Arts from Colorado Mountain College and went on to graduate from University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Innovation in Digital Media and a minor in Business — a combination that blends creativity with strategy.

Prior to Energy Smart Colorado, Estefanía worked with several local nonprofits including Walking Mountains Science Center, Stable Strides, and Early Connections, building a career rooted in community engagement and service.

Staying Connected to Community

Even after graduation, Estefanía continues to pour back into the very networks that helped shape her leadership journey:

  • Volunteering with Operation House Blanket on social media strategy
  • Serving as an interpreter with The Community Market and Mountain Pride through the Belonging Colorado Program
  • Providing contracted marketing support to Caregiver Connection, increasing Spanish-language outreach and access

Her work ensures that information, opportunity, and resources reach Spanish-speaking families in culturally responsive ways.

The Ripple Effect of Elevar

Estefanía embodies what Elevar is designed to do:

Strengthen leadership
Expand access to professional opportunity
Deepen community connection
Create long-term impact beyond the cohort year

Her story reflects how investing in one leader multiplies impact across organizations, sectors, and neighborhoods.

When she’s not building campaigns or connecting communities, you can find Estefanía walking her Goldendoodle, Aspen, or thrifting and upcycling clothing; creativity and community woven into every part of her life.

We are proud to call her an Elevar graduate and even prouder to witness the continued ripple of her leadership across Eagle County.
