Investment Giving

Donor Advised Funds

As a 501c3 nonprofit, Eagle Valley Community Foundation is eligible to receive gifts from DAFs (personal charitable vehicles established at a public charity like a community foundation or financial institution). Benefits of giving donations through DAFs include an immediate tax deduction upon contributing to your DAF and the ability to grow your donation tax-free using the various investment vehicles of your community foundation or financial institution. For more information on the benefits of giving through DAFs or for support with making a donation please contact Director of Development and Marketing, Grace Anshutz, at grace@eaglevalleycf.org.

Charitable IRA Rollovers

The charitable IRA rollover, or qualified charitable distribution (QCD), is a special provision allowing particular donors of age 70.5 to exclude from taxable income—and count toward their required minimum distribution—certain transfers of Individual Retirement Account (IRA) assets that are made directly to public charities. A charitable IRA rollover makes it easier to use your IRA assets, during lifetime, to make charitable gifts. Your qualified charitable distributions can satisfy all or part the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA. For more information on the benefits of giving via Charitable IRA Rollovers or for support with making a donation please contact Director of Development and Marketing, Grace Anshutz, at grace@eaglevalleycf.org.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of appreciated stock may offer tax advantages and are a great way to directly impact the lives of neighbors in need. The fair market value of your stock gift is tax-deductible, and Eagle Valley Community Foundation uses the gift to provide health and wellness resources to our community. To transfer stock, please consult your tax advisor and notify Eagle Valley Community Foundation of your gift of stock so that we can ensure your gift is associated with you and acknowledged. For assistance in making a gift of stock, please contact Director of Development and Marketing, Grace Anshutz, at grace@eaglevalleycf.org.
