Ways for Your Retail Business To Support EVCF

Shopping with an impact. From campaigns, to sponsorships, to contributing a percent of product sales, each partnership has contributed to making a difference in the lives of neighbors in need. Please contact Director of Development and Marketing, Grace Anshutz, at grace@eaglevalleycf.org at discuss your philanthropic goals and interests.

Small Business, Big Impact

Let’s face it, the Vail Valley isn’t an easy place to live, over 8,700 of our neighbors struggle with food insecurity, unsure where their next meal will come from. Service wages combined with high cost of housing creates a situation that challenges local community members and their employers. We are working hard to build local support and understanding of our work in the business community, knowing that we all have to work together to make our ski town economy work.

Eagle Valley Community Foundation (EVCF) provides access to programs and resources that support wellness, healthier food, and other essential needs in our community while embracing individual dignity and a commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, and quality. By partnering with local businesses and leaders, we can ensure these services are available and free for all those who need them.

Local businesses can participate in a way that is meaningful to them. Whether you pick an item or donate a portion of your proceeds like our friends at Skipper & Scout and Village Market, you can help community members in need!

As a shopper you can visit and shop at participating local retail businesses. Your purchases and support will in turn support EVCF’s programs and mission of connecting neighbors in need with essential resources.

We track and report the impact of your funding on the community in addition to providing tax acknowledgement letters. We also amplify partners’ commitment through Eagle Valley Community Foundation’s platforms; network, newsletter, social media, and other marketing platforms.

“As a locally owned and operated business, we are proud to support the important work being done by the Eagle Valley Community Foundation.  In our small community, it is necessary that we all do our part to ensure none of our neighbors are hungry and all have access to basic medical care.” -Kristen Busse, The Golden Bear
