Mike and Sue Rushmore were honored as the Vail Valley Foundation’s 2025 Citizens of the Year

​In January 2025, Eagle Valley Community Foundation (EVCF) founders Mike and Sue Rushmore were honored as the Vail Valley Foundation’s 2025 Citizens of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have provided exceptional support, vision, and leadership to the betterment of the Vail Valley community. Since founding EVCF in 2015, the Rushmores have been instrumental in addressing the needs of community members and creating more equitable opportunities for those who live, work, and play in the region. Their dedication has helped establish EVCF as a beacon of change and resilience in the Vail Valley. ​
