Startup Elevar: Turning Business Ideas into Community Impact
Every successful business begins with an idea. But transforming that idea into a thriving business takes more than passion. It takes knowledge, mentorship, confidence, and a community that believes in your success.
That’s why Eagle Valley Community Foundation is excited to launch Startup Elevar, a new four week entrepreneurship program designed to help aspiring business owners take the first step toward building a sustainable business right here in Eagle County.
Startup Elevar expands our commitment to creating economic opportunity by making entrepreneurship more accessible for individuals who have a business idea, side hustle, or small business they are ready to grow. Whether someone is dreaming of launching their first business or looking to strengthen an existing one, Startup Elevar provides the practical tools and support to move forward with confidence.
The program brings together 30 entrepreneurs for four weeks of in person learning, networking, and business development at The HUB from July 16 through August 6. Throughout the course, participants will gain foundational business skills while building relationships with fellow entrepreneurs who understand both the challenges and opportunities of starting a business in the Eagle River Valley.
As an added investment in each participant’s success, every entrepreneur will also receive a scholarship for Mentor International’s virtual Create Your Digital Marketing Plan course. Delivered in Spanish through live online sessions, the course helps participants develop a customized marketing strategy and earn a certificate of completion, giving them practical skills they can immediately apply to their business.
Startup Elevar also serves as a gateway into the broader Elevar ecosystem. Participants will connect with mentors, discover additional educational opportunities, and begin building the professional network that can help sustain long term business growth. For many entrepreneurs, this program will be the beginning of a journey that leads to future workshops, mentorship, advanced programming, and stronger connections within the local business community.
At Eagle Valley Community Foundation, we know that when local entrepreneurs succeed, our entire community benefits. New businesses create jobs, strengthen the local economy, provide culturally responsive services, and build pathways toward long term financial stability for families.
Entrepreneurship has the power to change individual lives, but it also transforms communities. Through Startup Elevar, we’re investing in the next generation of business owners who will shape the future of Eagle County.
Applications are open through July 6, with space limited to 30 participants. If you have a business idea or are ready to take your small business to the next level, we encourage you to apply and take the first step toward building your future with Elevar.
