Generosity in Action: The Generosity Cup Raises $285,000 for Local Nonprofits
When people come together around a shared commitment to community, generosity has a way of growing.
The 2026 Generosity Cup brought golfers, nonprofit leaders, sponsors, and supporters together at Red Sky Golf Club for a day of friendly competition and meaningful local impact. The tournament exceeded its fundraising goal, raising an incredible $285,000 for nine Eagle County nonprofits, including Eagle Valley Community Foundation.
Founded by Trey Little and Kyle Vann, the Generosity Cup offers local organizations more than financial support. It gives nonprofits an opportunity to share their missions, form new relationships, and introduce more community members to the work happening throughout the valley.
EVCF was honored to participate and highlight how our three programs—The Community Market, MIRA, and Elevar—help local families access food, health resources, education, and pathways toward greater economic stability.
The generosity extended well beyond a single day on the golf course. Every contribution helps local nonprofits respond to immediate needs, sustain vital programs, and continue building a stronger Eagle County. For EVCF, support from the tournament will help us meet neighbors where they are and connect them with resources that support their health, stability, and future.
We are deeply grateful to Trey, Kyle, Red Sky Golf Club, the tournament sponsors, participating golfers who were on Team EVCF, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year’s Generosity Cup such a success. We also congratulate the eight nonprofit organizations that joined us. Eagle County is stronger when local organizations have opportunities to celebrate one another and work collectively for the good of our community.
As the Vail Daily so perfectly captured, “generosity is contagious.” The Generosity Cup is a powerful example of what can happen when one generous idea inspires an entire community to take part.
