EagleBend Community: Neighbors Supporting Neighbors

At Eagle Valley Community Foundation, strong neighborhoods are built through care, connection, and partnership—and EagleBend is a powerful example of that commitment in action.

EagleBend is a residential community operated by Polar Star Properties, LLC, whose leadership has demonstrated a longstanding dedication to resident wellbeing and to the broader Eagle Valley. Most recently, Polar Star Properties, on behalf of the EagleBend community, contributed $10,000 to The Community Market, helping ensure families across the valley have continued access to fresh, nourishing food during a time of increased need.

This support comes at a critical moment. Delays in SNAP payments and rising food costs have created additional challenges for many households, making reliable food access more important than ever. This gift helps provide immediate relief while reinforcing the importance of community-driven solutions.

In addition to this financial contribution, EagleBend has partnered with Eagle Valley Community Foundation by hosting MIRA stops within the neighborhood. These visits bring trusted health education, resources, and support directly to residents in a familiar and welcoming environment—reducing barriers to care and strengthening community connection.

As EagleBend Board Member Craig Ferraro shared:

The Community Market is a critical asset for our community, especially at this time, and we wanted to contribute to relief from food insecurity caused by delays in SNAP payments, both for our residents and anybody living in the Eagle Valley.”

This partnership reflects a shared belief that community care begins close to home. Through the leadership of Polar Star Properties, LLC and the engagement of EagleBend residents, this collaboration strengthens not only one neighborhood, but the entire Eagle Valley.
