Steering Committee Spotlight: Bibiana Rivero
At Elevar, our Steering Committee is made stronger by leaders who embody resilience, creativity, and service. Bibiana Rivero is one of those leaders.
Originally from Chihuahua City, Mexico, Bibiana is a proud Mexican entrepreneur, artist, and devoted mother of three daughters. At 47 years old, she considers her most important role to be that of homemaker — deeply committed to instilling strong values, faith, and integrity in her family. Her Catholic faith grounds her work and leadership, inspiring her gratitude for the opportunities Eagle County has offered her family to build a safe, fulfilling, and prosperous life.
A Foundation in Business and Determination
Bibiana graduated from the Faculty of Accounting and Administration in Chihuahua City with a degree in Business Administration. That educational foundation, combined with grit and lived experience, became the backbone of her entrepreneurial journey.
Since relocating to Eagle County in 2009, Bibiana has worked across multiple sectors, contributing meaningfully to the fabric of the community. For more than 15 years, she has supported local families and the hospitality industry through childcare services, housekeeping, and laundry operations — building trust one relationship at a time.
In January 2025, she will expand her professional portfolio further by launching new outsourcing services, continuing her evolution as a business owner.
Building Businesses Rooted in Service
Bibiana is the founder of multiple ventures, including:
- Babysitter Service
- Quality Clean Laundry Service
- BibiArt
Her laundry business grew from hands-on work into a trusted service supporting local residents and hospitality partners. But entrepreneurship for Bibiana has never been solely about income — it has been about dignity, independence, and building something lasting for her daughters.
Her artistic expression through BibiArt reveals another dimension of her leadership. Her work has been showcased at prestigious venues including:
- The Charter at Beaver Creek
- Vail Valley Art Guild
- Colorado Mountain College
Her art reflects her love of nature, color, and culture — and her belief that creativity is both healing and empowering.
A Life of Faith and Community Leadership
Bibiana’s impact extends far beyond business ownership.
She serves as a catechist at:
- Santa Clara de Asís Catholic Church
- St. Patrick Catholic Church
She has participated in and contributed to numerous community initiatives, including:
- Parents as Mentors
- YouthPower365
- Graduating from the Family Leadership Training Institute
- Pioneering support groups for grieving Hispanic families
- Earning certifications in CPR, health consultancy through the Consortium for Older Adult Wellness (COAW), and Colorado’s “Taking Control of Your Health” program
- Completing the “Incredible Years” parenting program
Her work consistently centers on strengthening Hispanic families, empowering parents, and building spaces of belonging.
Leadership on the Elevar Steering Committee
As a Steering Committee member for Elevar, Bibiana brings:
- Firsthand entrepreneurial experience
- Deep cultural understanding
- A faith-rooted commitment to service
- A passion for mentorship and lifelong learning
Her lived experience navigating business ownership as an immigrant woman informs how Elevar continues to support BIPOC entrepreneurs in building sustainable ventures. She understands both the barriers and the possibilities — and she advocates for programs that meet entrepreneurs where they are.
“To Live Is to Serve”
Bibiana’s personal philosophy guides everything she does:
“To live is to serve, and to serve is to live.”
Whether through business, art, church, volunteer leadership, or motherhood, she models what it means to build prosperity while lifting others along the way.
We are honored to have Bibiana Rivero helping guide Elevar’s future — and proud to celebrate the extraordinary leadership that grows when entrepreneurship and service walk hand in hand.
