Nourishing Our Neighbors: Winter Holiday Food Baskets
At Eagle Valley Community Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves to gather around a table full of food, family and connection during the holiday season. Thanks to the generous support of our volunteers, donors and partners, we were able to deliver over 600 baskets to our neighbors in need over the Thanksgiving holiday. And this December, our community is coming together once again to ensure families can gather together over the winter holiday.
In partnership with the Salvation Army, we are hosting our Third Annual Winter Holiday Basket event, a program designed to ensure that no family in Eagle County goes without a holiday meal this season. On December 19 and 20, we are uniting again to prepare and distribute 600 winter holiday bags filled with seasonal favorites so families across the valley have what they need to enjoy a home-cooked meal together this holiday season.
A heartfelt thank you to Alpine Bank for making these winter baskets possible. Your partnership is vital to our work, and your commitment to community wellbeing continues to create meaningful impact across Eagle County. This year, your generosity goes even further with a dollar-for-dollar match for every donation made toward the winter holiday baskets. We’re also deeply grateful to the Passport Club for launching your own campaign to help Alpine Bank double their impact and reach even more neighbors. Thank you for being such dedicated partners in supporting our community.
We are in awe of how our community continues to rise to the occasion, supporting neighbors in need, not just over the holidays, but every day. Thank you to our volunteers, our donors, and our partners, for showing up and helping to build a more connected and resilient community.
