Orlando Ortiz
Orlando, a native of the border cities of El Paso, TX, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, enjoyed a vibrant bi-cultural upbringing. In 2004, he achieved a B.A. in Business Management from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, before relocating to Avon, CO, to reunite with his family.
Over the past 19 years, Orlando has embraced diverse professional experiences. He embarked on his career in the hospitality sector, dedicating 12 years to prestigious establishments such as The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, and The Four Seasons Resort Vail, eventually ascending to the role of Director of Housekeeping. Later, he transitioned to the finance industry, serving as a Personal Banker for 6 years at MidFirst Bank.
Currently, Orlando serves as the part-time Community Engagement Manager at Mountain Pride, committed to meeting the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. In his free time, he cherishes moments with family, explores the world through travel, enjoys concerts, indulges in movies, savors culinary delights, dances, and sings.
In his present capacity at the EVCF (Eagle Valley Community Foundation), Orlando feels privileged to contribute to this already successful organization, striving to enhance health equity within the community.
