Lauren Lux Meehan is an accomplished accounting and finance professional with more than a decade of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, corporate finance, and operations management. She currently serves as Accounting Manager at Eagle Valley Community Foundation in Avon, Colorado, where she oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance to support the organization’s mission of strengthening community well-being.

Previously, Lauren was Associate Director of Finance at Luminate, and before that spent nearly six years with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska, where she advanced from Staff Accountant to Director of Accounting Operations. In that role, she managed a team of six accountants, led audits, built a $12 million annual budget, and developed forecasting tools that improved organizational sustainability.

Her career also includes finance and operations leadership in the sports and hospitality sectors, including work with Sports Partners International and Vail Resorts, where she advanced rapidly to the role of Buyer in the Procurement Department.

Lauren earned her B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University, where she was a Reggie Lewis Scholar, member of the Honors Program, and standout Division I student-athlete on the Women’s Soccer team. She also pursued additional accounting coursework at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

With expertise in nonprofit finance, auditing, and organizational strategy, Lauren is recognized for building efficient systems, leading high-performing teams, and aligning financial operations with mission-driven goal.
