Join Us for Upcoming Food Drives at City Markets in Honor of Hunger Action Month!

September is Hunger Action Month, a time when communities across the country come together to raise awareness and take action to fight hunger. At the Community Market, we are marking this important month by hosting three food drives at City Market locations in Eagle County – and we need your help!

Food Drive Details

We invite everyone in our community to participate in the following food drives on September 28:

• Vail City Market
  Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
  Location: 2109 N Frontage Rd W, Vail, CO 81657
• Eagle City Market
  Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
  Location: 0111 Broadway St, Eagle, CO 81631
• Avon City Market
• Time: 10 AM – 3 PM
• Location: 72 Beaver Creek Pl, Avon, CO 81620

These food drives are a great way to take action against hunger locally, ensuring that the shelves at our Community Market remain stocked and ready to support families in need.

How You Can Help

We’re asking our neighbors and supporters to join us by donating food items such as:

• Milk
• Eggs
• Meat
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.)
• Pasta and rice
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Canned soups and stews

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge impact in the lives of local families. If you’re unable to donate food, we also welcome monetary donations, which allow us to purchase fresh produce and other high-need items for the community.

Hunger is a reality for many families in Eagle County. Every day, the Community Market serves hundreds of individuals who are struggling to put food on the table. By participating in our City Market food drives, you’re helping to ensure that no one in our community has to go without a meal.
