Elevar Hosts Community Conversation with Eagle Mayor and Town Council Candidates

Elevar brought neighbors, entrepreneurs, and local leaders together for an evening of honest conversation and shared vision. During a community forum hosted in partnership with The Tea Party by Little Stars Cakery LLC, candidates for Eagle Mayor and Town Council sat down with residents to discuss the issues shaping the future of our town.

What unfolded was more than a campaign event—it was a space for connection, curiosity, and collective hope.

Centering Small Businesses and Community Voice

Small businesses are the heartbeat of Eagle, and for many BIPOC entrepreneurs, they represent economic mobility, cultural pride, and community identity. Candidates were invited to speak directly to these business owners about:

  • Their vision for small business growth and support
  • How local government can better empower BIPOC entrepreneurs
  • Approaches to inclusive community planning and decision-making
  • Ideas for building a town where all families feel welcome and valued

Participants shared lived experiences, barriers they face, and aspirations for the future. The dialogue was candid, constructive, and grounded in the belief that policy works best when shaped alongside the community it affects.

Spaces That Strengthen Community

Gatherings like this one—and the willingness of local leaders to show up and listen—are essential to building a thriving, inclusive Eagle County. When entrepreneurs and elected officials sit at the same table, understanding deepens, trust builds, and real solutions take root.

These conversations pave the way for a stronger, more united Eagle County—one where everyone who lives, works, and raises a family here has the opportunity to thrive.

A Special Thank You
